The CBS RADIO MYSTERY THEATER series of radio dramas was created by Himan Brown and hosted by E.G. Marshall for all but the final year of its 1974 through 1982 run. These are recordings from WBBM, the CBS affiliate for Chicago, Illinois. In most cases, they contain the original news broadcasts and commercials of the era. Audio quality and length vary.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater  (aka  Radio Mystery Theater  and  Mystery Theater , sometimes abbreviated as  CBSRMT ) was a  radio drama  series created by  Himan Brown  that was broadcast on  CBS Radio Network  affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was briefly carried by  WVXU  in  Cincinnati . The format was similar to that of classic  old time radio  shows such as  The Mysterious Traveler  and  The Whistler , in that the episodes were introduced by a host...

This is the revival of the Peabody Award Winning Radio Drama, originally broadcast from 1974-1982, rebroadcast in 1998 and 2000. Radio veteran Himan Brown returned to the studio in 1973 to work on an ambitious project to revive the "golden age of radio" in the form of audio drama. This project was known to most as the CBS Radio Mystery Theater, but it always referred to itself as Mystery Theater. It presented the opportunity for the writers and actors of the "golden age of...

Windows 3.1x (codenamed Janus) is a series of 16-bit operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers. The series began with Windows 3.1, which was first sold during April 1992 as a successor to Windows 3.0. Subsequent versions were released between 1992 and 1994 until the series was superseded by Windows 95. During its lifespan, Windows 3.1 introduced several enhancements to the still MS-DOS-based platform, including improved system stability, expanded support for...

So I've been thinking for a long time about uploading a torrent containing all the different roguelikes I've collected over the years. It first started back in 2008 as a passion project and have since grown exponentially ever since. I thought it would be a good idea to share the games with...

What "No-Intro" does is fill some .dat files, to be used with ROM-Managers, with information about the known ROMS released. Often there are more versions of the same ROM dump, but most of them are garbage, some examples may include: bad dumps, hacks, fakes, overdumps, underdumps, and so on. "No-Intro" lists only the best available ROM; it must be a full dump with no faults and no changes to the file, basically just the ROMS that are the closest as possible to the original...

SUSPENSE SUSPENSE an introduction Copyright Jim Widner (jwidner@infinet.com) 18 Oct 1994 On September 30, 1962 a major milestone in radio drama came to an end with the final episode of the long running series, SUSPENSE . Ironically, the episode was titled "Devil Stone" and was the last dramatic radio play from a series that had its roots in the golden age of radio. What began as a "new series frankly dedicated to your horrification and entertainment" took on a life of its...

ESCAPE In the Golden Days of Radio, back in the 1930s to the 1950s, most popular radio series had a set time for going out each week. Occasionally, there might be a change in the schedule, but on the whole a consistent time-slot was something that helped build a large audience and so was something the big networks aimed to achieve. One exception to this rule was the dramatic adventure anthology series called Escape , whose time-slot shifted an incredible eighteen times in its seven-year run...

Wiz 'n' Liz: The Frantic Wabbit Wescue is a side-scrolling video game developed by Raising Hell Software for the Amiga and Sega Mega Drive and published by Psygnosis in 1993. It is a humorous, cutesy platform game, notable for its almost complete lack of violence. With the exception of some end-of-level bosses, the game contains no enemies. Wiz 'n' Liz takes place in the magical planet of Pum – which the game admits is a silly name – where a group of "wabbits" (rabbits) have been...

CRIME CLASSICS Crime Classics came to CBS September 30, 1953 and was a neat little series of "true crime stories". This show introduces itself succinctly: "A series of true crime stories from the records and newspapers of every land, from every time. Your host each week, is Mr. Thomas Hyland -- connoisseur of crime, student of violence, and teller of murders. " Thomas Hyland is played by Lou Merrill, although you'd never know it was an "actor" doing the part. The...

BEHIND THE MIKE Behind the Mike was a behind-the-scenes view of radio personalities, personnel and operations. This version of the program aired from 15 Sep 1940 until 19 Apr 1942. Of the possible 83 episodes, it appears only 32 are currently known. The program was developed as a way for radio listeners to learn more of their favorite radio personalities, programs, and behind-the-scenes people who contributed to the production of radio programs. The host of the show was Graham McNamee. OTRR...
